Johnson City Avenges Loss To Hellcats

JOHNSON CITY – Johnson City avenged a loss to the Hellcats from earlier this season getting a three-hit shutout from Nick Trayling in Monday's American Legion matchup.

Trayling was not dominant on the mound striking out two, and instead relying on nearly error-free JC defense.

Cody Arvanitakis went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the win, Andy Furman drove in two runs for JC, and Nick Chilson also had two hits.

Chilson and Furman had RBI singles in the first inning to open up the early lead.

The Hellcats play at Binghamton Post #80 today at 6 p.m.
