Accused drug dealer from Utica, others appear in Chenango County Court

NORWICH - It was a busy Monday in Chenango County Court as 14 individuals were set to see County Court Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr. Defendants were in the court on charges ranging from drug arrests to assault.

Eight defendants were arraigned Monday, June 29. Most notable was Michael B. Mack of Utica. Mack was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, tampering with evidence, an E felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, an A misdemeanor.

It is alleged that Mack, along with another individual, was caught with a large amount of narcotics by local authorities. Assistant District Attorney Michael Ferrarese spoke on behalf of the people during the day at court.
