Public Arts Initiative

The Chenango Arts Council through its Public Arts Initiative has committed to rent vacant store front space in the lower level of 16 S. Broad Street to showcase artwork and crafts from number of local artists and craftsmen on a rotating basis. Funding for the project was secured through the generous philanthropy of the City of Norwich BID and Norwich Rotary. Presently, the exhibition is funded through October of this year, but organizers are soliciting additional funding to utilize the space year-round in an effort to make good use of an eyesore and promote the arts in the public realm.
