Sherburne man accused of  recording predatory acts on cell phone

SHERBURNE – A Sherburne man is facing charges of predatory sexual assault after allegedly using his cell phone to record lewd sexual acts with a child.

State police arrested 30-year-old Aaron Crawford of Stream Saw Mill Road in Sherburne following an investigation in which police say they found a recording on Crawford’s cell phone of him engaging in oral sexual conduct with a child under the age of seven.

The incident is claimed to have taken place inside a Town of Hamilton home in Madison County.

Crawford was charged on May 15 with one count of predatory sexual assault against a child, a Class A-2 felony, as well as one county of use of a child in a sexual performance, a Class C felony.

Crawford was arraigned in Lebanon Court in Madison County and remanded without bail to the Madison County jail.
