Starting to get into the Summer Spirit, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is here in action and we've got an all new Toddster's Take with one of the most anticipated movies for Summer with "Avengers: Age of Ultron.." More on that later. Time for a look at some movies for when a break is needed.

New on DVD

The Boy Next Door- We always like to meet new people but you have to be careful because you never know what to expect. Claire (Jennifer Lopez) was a teacher who thought she was happy until she discovered that her husband Garrett (John Corbett) had been cheating on her. Claire meets Noah (Ryan Guzman) who has just moved into town. One thing leads to another and they come together. Things start out great but things start to get intense when Noah gets too close. Noah starts going to the school where Claire works. Claire isn't sure of what Noah will do. Can she find a way to free herself of him? Another great Lopez movie to see her at work is "Enough" where she has to find a way to save herself and her daughter from an abusive relationship. This one is now available on DVD.

Black Sea- Finding buried treasure isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Captain Robinson (Jude Law) worked at sea all over the World on a number of jobs. He's at his lowest until he gets an offer to salvage a Nazi Submarine containing millions of dollars in gold. You never know what a job will bring or who you'll be working with. The Captain needs to pull off this job but the longer it goes, the more things get complicated. Also, his crew begins having other ideas of what they want for the gold too. Can Robinson pull this job off? Law stars with Melissa Mccarthy and Jason Statham in "Spy" in theaters coming in June.

Also on DVD

The Gambler (2015)- Gambling is a chance not everyone wants to take. Jim Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) worked as an English Professor with a secret life. Jim was also an high stakes gambler who didn't always win like he wanted. He takes a chance and borrows money from a loan shark named Frank (John Goodman) and his Mother (Jessica Lange). Jim also has to seal with a relationship that he's not sure of where it's going to go. Jim bets everything and is now in debt. He has to find a way to win the money back and keep everyone he cares about safe. Is Jim going to do it? Wahlberg has several projects in the works including a big screen version of "The Six Mllion Dollar Man," a big screen version of "Entourage," and he stars in "Ted 2" coming in June.

Now in Theaters

Avengers: Age of Ultron- Being in a group you always want to be good at what you do and you want to support your friends. There's always the chance that there's something out there that may come along to make you doubt everything you are. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chis Evans), The Black Widow (Scarlet Johansen), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) come together to take down Hydra to reclaim the sceptre of Loki. They're successful but now they go to relax and Tony Stark (Downey) comes up with an idea that would make it easier for him and the Avengers to not be needed. He develops an artificial intelligence called "Ultron" (James Spader) that would do the job. Tony may have done his job too well and Ultron becomes self aware. This happens the wrong way and now Ultron has to be stopped. To make matters worse, Ultron finds two young people with super powers who have an axe to grind against Stark. Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor Johnson) and the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) manage to bring the Avengers to their knees. Now they have to come back and find a way to stop them. Can they find the will to do it?

The Toddster's Take- I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's possible for sequels to be better than the original. Not always but on this one it works. Director Joss Whedon always finds a way to bring all these characters together to weave a story where they have to take down the bad guys. He also gets into the heads of them to show that as tough as they are, they're also vulnerable and at the core still human. The action is terrific and the effects behind Ultron is incredible. I recommend this one. Captain America:Civil War is next in line with Captain America and Iron Man at odds fighting each other.

Avengers was a good one and more movies are on the way for this Summer. The Toddster has some tricks that you'll have to find out what's in store. See us next time when the Toddster returns with more movies.
