Book signing to benefit Sherburne library

SHERBURNE – To celebrate the release of his novel, “The Reluctant Captain,” local author Michael Tefft will be holding a book signing to benefit the Sherburne Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 11 at the Sherburne Public Library. Books will be available for $10 and all proceeds from the signing will benefit the library.

“The Reluctant Captain” is a novel in the vein of the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne that details the adventures of Lieutenant Commander Malcolm Robertson. When a mysterious explosion destroys the bridge of His Majesty's Airship Daedalus, Malcolm, the Chief Engineer, finds himself thrust into the role of Captain on a secretive mission to Russia. With an airship full of British and Russian scientists whose intelligence is matched only by their egos, spies watching his every move, and a real saboteur on board, Malcolm must find a way to complete his mission and bring his crew home safely.
