Arrested For Cocaine Possession, Sent To Jail For Cash And Firearm Theft

NORWICH – While Chenango County Sheriff's Office deputies were processing a Plymouth man arrested for cocaine possession, it was discovered the man was also a suspect in a grand larceny investigation involving the theft of money and a firearm.

Following a traffic stop in the Town of Columbus, CCSO arrested Aaron M. Bishop, 31 of Plymouth, for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

It is alleged Bishop was found to be in possession of cocaine during the traffic stop.

Bishop was initially processed and was to be released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Columbus Court at a later date.
