Yoga classes to be offered at Chenango Arts Council

NORWICH – In a recent study by Yoga Journal, it was found that more than 20 million Americans practice yoga. If you are among these 20 million, you know that yoga makes you feel better – its effects are almost immediate.

If you haven’t yet joined the yoga revolution, a new program has been developed locally with its sights set on helping Chenango discover just how beneficial this simple age-old practice can be. When practiced regularly, yoga reliably increases our sense of physical health, emotional well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual connection.

The instruction will begin on October 22, and organizers urge that there is still time to register. Set on the stage of the Martin W. Kappel performing arts theater within the Chenango Arts Council, the six session Yoga series will be taught by Dawn Hahn of Universal Prana.
