Think Scary, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is thinking along the lines of scary things and we've come up with a few scares and at least one feel good movie for you. The Toddster has a few Toddster's takes on the way but more on that later. Take a look at the picks for this time around.

New on DVD

Edge of Tomorrow- No one likes to repeat the same thing twice. Cage (Tom Cruise) didn't want to be a soldier but now he'll have to be after he realizes he's caught in a war with an alien race who's trying to take control of the Earth. After he dies, he comes back and suddenly he realizes he seems to be repeating the same things over and over. The more he comes back, the more his skills increase. He'll need more of an edge so he tries to find a battle savvy soldier named Rita (Emily Blunt). She's not sure what to make of her new charge but she tries to train him so they will have a fighting chance to win this war. After the next time Cage comes back, can they find a way to win? Cruise has a number of projects in the works including a sequel to "Top Gun" and he's currently working on "Mission Impossible 5" coming to theaters next year.

Story Continues Below Adverts

Million Dollar Arm- It always helps to find something special when you least expect it. JB (Jon Hamm) was one of the best sports agents around and had a knack for recruiting the best talent for any team around. Some time passes and he hits a rough patch in his career. There're some who believe he's lost his mojo so to speak. While looking for the next big idea, he sees a cricket game from India on TV and he thinks a couple of these guys could become the next big thing in Baseball. He goes to India to hold some tryouts and spots three potential players who could make it. JB also has a thing for his neighbor Brenda (Lake Bell). Can JB get his lovelife going and find the right player to bring his career back to what it was? Hamm returns for the final season of "Mad Men" on AMC set to air in 2015.

Also on DVDs

Alien (35th Anniversary Edition)- In Space, no one can hear you scream. After 35 years, that can still be said. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) worked on the cargo ship Nostromo. She was used to long runs working in space. The crew suddenly receives a distress call from a planet that no one has been to. Ripley and the crew go looking for people in trouble but can't find anyone so they go back to their ship and continue on their way home. Suddenly, members of the crew start to have horrible things happen to them and they come to find out something has gotten aboard which has a way of getting inside one's body. Will the crew be able to take down this unwelcome passenger before it's too late? My sources tell me that Weaver will be joining James Cameron for the "Avatar" sequels getting ready to be filmed. Stay tuned!

The Faculty-From Kevin Williamson who created the "Scream" trilogy and "The Vampire Dairies."Have you ever been asked who your favorite teacher is? This probably wouldn't be a good time. Zeke Tyler (Josh Hartnett) wasn't exactly one of the best students because he had a past. That didn't mean he wasn't trying to make up for it. As much of as a troubled student as he has been, he starts noticing that some of his teachers have been acting strangely. Zeke starts to ask some of his friends if they have seen anything and sure enough they have. Now he just has to prove it. This might not be such a good idea after he discovers they have been taken over by aliens. What will Zeke and his friends do next? Williamson has just started a new series called "Stalker" (starring Maggie Q and Dylan Mcdermott) airing on CBS Wednesdays at 10PM. It has potental but hopefully it will pick up steam. We'll see!

The Toddster has been pretty busy lately checking out some movies on the theater with a few goodies such as "The November Man" starring Pierce Brosnan and "The Equalizer" with Denzel Washington just to name a couple. Heading out to check out a couple of more that are coming up. Check out the Colonia Theatre with some special events happening. You won't be disappointed. The Toddster will be back.
