Bainbridge-Guilford 3, Sidney 1

BAINBRIDGE – Coming off an emotional overtime win over Greene, Bainbridge-Guilford scored two early second-half goals to dispatch Sidney Friday.

Jake Cuozzo tallied three minutes into the second session off a Zach Smith pass, and Adam Bauerle had the eventual winning goal six minutes later. Trevor Halaquist added an insurance goal for B-G (6-0), and Smith finished with two assists.

The Bobcats play at Walton Tuesday.

COPES CORNERS – Schenevus flipped the tenor of the game erasing a one-goal deficit with five second-half goals in Friday’s road win over G-MU.

Jacob Darling had four second-half goals for the Dragons tying the game at 36:40.

After Trevor Puerile gave G-MU it’s last lead nine minutes later, Darling had the tying goal at 22:31, and Dominick Harris put Schenevus ahead for good with 14:22 remaining.

G-MU took a one-goal lead into halftime on the strength of Matt Ward’s goal.

“It was hard played by both teams, and our kids just got tired and ran out of steam,” said G-MU coach Steve Antczak.
