In with the old: 38th annual CCHS antiques show takes to fairgrounds Sunday

NORWICH – The Chenango County Historical Society will play host to one of the largest annual antique shows in the county this weekend, bringing hundreds of treasure hunters into the Norwich area.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, more than four dozen vendors from across the region are expected to turnout to the Chenango County Fairgrounds for the 38th annual Historical Society Antiques Show, to be held rain or shine. Antiquers will be able to browse the fairgrounds in search of all things rustic, from home goods and basic appliances, to tools, toys, cookware, glassware, furniture, books, farm tools and everything in between.

The single-day event is a chance for avid collectors to find a valuable piece to add to their growing collection, or a special keepsake to remind them of simpler days, say organizers.

Admission is $4 per person and as always, parking is free. All proceeds will benefit the Chenango County Historical Society in its mission to lead and support the advancement of research, education, and enjoyment of the area’s longstanding history and its significant assets.
