CHENANGO COUNTY The Chenango County Department of Public Health has announced the following rabies clinics to take place in the county:
6-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at the town garage in Lincklaen
6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the South New Berlin fire station.
5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Oxford firehouse.
Rabies clinics are free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
New York State public health rabies law requires that all dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets receive immunization against rabies no later than four months of age, and NYS ag and markets law requires dogs to be licensed at four months of age.
