Elites split with Schenevus, Oneonta

ONEONTA – The OCO Elites scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to defeat Schenevus last weekend, 7-2.

Trailing 2-1, Kyle Crawford singled in Dakota Kolvik with the tying run, Crawford scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, Conor Pope added a run-scoring single, and Paul Van Warner completed the rally with a two-run single.



Brett Smith pitched a one-hit complete game striking out 17 and walking four.

Brandon Miles was 2-for-3 with a double to help the winning cause.

Monday, Oneonta built a 10-3 lead after six innings, and withstood a late rally from the Elites to win, 10-8.
