Volleyball tournament to benefit YMCA kids' camp

NORWICH – The Norwich Family YMCA, in collaboration with several community volunteers, is making a set for the annual co-ed volleyball tournament.

For the fourth year, the tournament will help raise money for YMCA programs while giving volleyball lovers an opportunity to compete in one of the few local tournaments in the area. Funds raised this year will go directly toward the YMCA Kids for Camp summer program.

The tournament will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Rotary Park located at 95 Cortland St. in Norwich.

“This is something a group of volunteers and volleyball enthusiasts have done for the YMCA for a few years,” said Norwich YMCA Executive Director Jamey Mullen. “They help raise money for a specific program each year, and it's something we really appreciate.”
