The Easter egg hunt is on!

NORWICH As Easter quickly approaches, the city of Norwich celebrates with an Easter Egg Hunt for children. At 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19 kids up to 4 years old will be able to gather eggs at West Park in Norwich. At 10:15 a.m., kids ages 5 to 8 will go hunting at East Park. Organizers request that all children be accompanied by an adult and that each child come with his or her own basket. The hunts will commence irregardless of weather conditions.

With more than 2,000 eggs in each park, children will have the opportunity to fill their baskets. The eggs will be filled with candy and various prizes. To make the hunt even more enticing there will be one special egg in each park. The two children who discover the eggs will each receive a bicycle as a grand prize. Adults will also be on the look out for the Golden Egg and the winner will be presented with his or her prize at the hunt.
