We're going to back to basics, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol thought it was time to go a little old school and do something we've haven't done in a while. Just a DVD week! The Toddster has been out pounding the pavement checking out movies in the Theater but it was time this week just for some movies at home. Let's go.

New on DVD

Story Continues Below Adverts

47 Ronin - Fighting for honor as well as your life can be a challenge. Kai (Keanu Reeves) was a skilled samurai but had no master. He was what was considered a "Ronin." The master he did have was killed by an evil samurai who practiced some would consider dark arts. This made him a force to be reckoned with but this made him fight with no honr. Kai assembles a small army of 47 warriors who want to avenge their master but they know the odds are against them to win. Will Kai and his warriors be able to win their fight? Hang on, Bill and Ted fans! My sources tell me that there is a another Bill and Ted movie in development and Keanu Reeves is attached. More on this as it develops.

Anchorman 2 - The Legend Continues- When you stay classy, you'll have to find a way to change with the times. Ron Burgundy (Will Farrell) is back and he's going into the 80's firing on all cylinders. An all new 24 hour news service is starting up and he brings along his whole news team with him. They want his wife Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) but not him. So he takes the guys on a road trip to find the news to prove he's still got it. How classy does Ron have to be? Some other great DVDS starring Farrell are "Old School,""Step Brothers," and "Megamind" available in stores now.

Also on DVD

Avengers Confidental: Black Widow & Punisher - Cartoon Spotlight is Back! From the people who brought you "Marvel's The Avengers," comes an all new movie with two of comics biggest butt kickers. When the Punisher interferes with a Shield operation that the Black Widow is working on, things are going to get a bit complicated. So to make things right, Widow takes the Punisher with her to check a lead on a new organization called "Leviathan" who seem to have stolen a lot of Shield tech. Can the two work together to stop them without killing each other? It's going to be a terrific weekend as Scarlet Johannsen returns to the Black Widow role joining Chris Evans as the star spangled Avenger to take down the Winter Soldier and stop corruption in Shield. This hits theaters this weekend.

The Little Rascals Save The Day - An old favorite returns with an all new adventure. Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat, and the rest of the gang are back and this time they have really have to work to get the job done. Their Grandma's (Doris Roberts) bakery is in trouble and may be closing. The gang needs to raise some money. They mean well but everything they do seems to end in disaster. The only other thing they can do is to try to win a local talent show. The only problem is Alfalfa thinks he's a shoo-in to win (This kid's got nothing on American Idol). Can the gang help him out or will they come up with a new plan? Another fun filled family film withTinkerbell in "The Pirate Fairy" in a brand new movie and is available on DVD in stores now.

The Toddster heads to back to the Theater to check out "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and will be featured in an future Toddster's Take. Summer Movie Season begins here. We'll be back next week.
