NORWICH – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), assisted by members of the Norwich Police Department, executed a “no knock” search warrant at 1:45 p.m., on April 1, 2014, at a Norwich Inn motel room in the Town of Norwich.

Lieutenant Richard Cobb with the CCSO said, “This is another case where cooperation between agencies results in a good outcome.”

According to authorities, the warrant stemmed from a lengthy investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in Norwich and the surrounding area.

Arrested was 18-year-old Noel J. Budram from the Bronx, NY. Budram was found to be in possession of crack and $2,400 cash.
