Hey, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol must go on. Been pretty busy. The Toddster is feeling a little blue and not just because Mardi Gras is happening in New Orleans. This week marks five years that my Mother passed away. As they always say, the show must go on.

New on DVD

The Hunger Games:Catching Fire- When you do something well, you might get asked to do it again. Catniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) found a way to win the Hunger Games for their districts and are now the media darlings. What the folks at the Capitol soon learn is that they have also become symbols of hope and that has made them martyrs. The officials realize that they have to do something about this and so they make sure the next Hunger Games will be even more challenging than when they won the first time. Can Catniss and Peeta find a way to win again and stay alive? Lawrence and Hutcherson are back in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" set for release later in 2014.

Thor- The Dark World- No one said being in a relationship was easy. Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) has been waiting for Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to return but he had to destroy Bifrost the rainbow bridge to save the Universe. Some time passes, Jane discovers a gravity anomaly and she becomes exposed to a dangerous and destructive force called the "Aether." An evil race called the Dark Elves led by their king Melekith (Christopher Eccleston) finds out about it and goes after her. Thor finds out about it and brings Jane to Asgard where he hopes to keep her safe. Things don't work out as planned and a dangerous game of Cat and Mouse starts to save Asgard and the Earth itself. Can Thor find a way to save Jane and everyone else? The Next Avenger to go into action is Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in "Captain America: Winter Soldier" with Thor returning in "Avengers:Age of Ultron" heading into theaters in May 2015. Also, an ally of Thor's named Sif (Jaime Alexander) will be aiding the "Agents of Shield" airing on March 11 at 8PM on "Marvel's Agents of Shield" on ABC.

Also on DVD

Gravity- You ever do a job too well. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) and Matt (Kowalski (George Clooney) were selected as the latest crew to go to work at the International Space Station. There is always a level of risk doing this type of job but that always goes with the territory. The risk factor is about to go way up when an explosion separates them and they have to find a way to survive together. Can they find a way to get back home and survive together? My sources tell me that Bullock is about to start making a sequel to "The Heat." More on this as it develops.

Now in Theaters

3 Days to Kill- Being good at your job always seems to cost you something. Ethan Renner (Kevin Costner) was one of the best CIA agents that the company had. When he collapses, he comes to find out that he only has a few months left to live. Ethan starts to take stock of his life and wants to make it up to his family since he hasn't always been there when he should have been. A mysterious Agent named Vivi (Amber Heard) might have a cure for predicament but he has to complete a mission for the Company to stop a terrorist called the Wolf. He'll get the cure if he completes the job. Will Ethan be able to make it up to his family and use the cure he's been promised to live longer?

The Toddster's Take- Finding a new movie is always a nice surprise. I was very surprised by this one. They always make comments about stars making comments. You always wonder where did they go? Costner always finds a way to deliver and he did just that with a great story trying to make it up to his family and to complete the mission. This one was a terrific one. See it!

A lot of Oscar movies are also out on DVD including Best Picture winner "12 years a Slave." Some specials and new movies are coming up so don't forget to check us out. The Toddster will be back
