Rogers’ Winter Living Celebration embraces the snow and cold

SHERBURNE – The Friends of Rogers organization in Sherburne is gearing up to host its annual Winter Living Celebration to help area residents beat cabin fever that’s so often brought on by the winter season.

The Friends of Rogers Winter Living Celebration – an event free and open to the public – will get underway from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jan. 26, outside the environmental education building at Rogers Environmental Conservation Center, 2721 state Highway 80 in Sherburne.

The weekend event features a number of outdoor winter time activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, winter camping demonstrations, and sleigh rides that embrace the snow and blistering cold. Several indoor vendors will also offer demonstrations in fly-tying, basket making, and many other family friendly activities in addition to live musical performances.
