Time to Heat Things Up, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol has been plenty braving all the elements to bring the latest movies. It's sure has been cold lately but the Toddster has his eyes on a few to warm you up when you have to stay home and everything else you do. Let's see what there is.

New on DVD

The Lone Ranger – The Masked One Returns! Tonto (Johnny Depp) grew up as a Warrior not knowing who killed his family. When he thinks he finds out what he needs to know, he meets John Reid (Armie Hammer) who has just graduated from Law School and is now moving back home to set up shop as a lawyer. When these two meet, it's not an easy one with a train robbery going on and all. John's brother is a Texas Ranger and asks his brother to come with him to chase down the thieves. They are betrayed by one of their own and are ambushed. They're all left for dead but are found by Tonto who escaped while the robbery was happening. He finds John and tells him that everyone thinks he's dead. This is something he thinks he can use. To protect his family, John puts on a mask. With Tonto's help and his new horse Silver, will he become the hero he needs to be to get justice? Depp will be teaming up with Jerry Bruckheimer to bring back everyone's favorite Captain Jack Sparrow in a new adventure that is being set for release sometime in 2015 for theaters.

Prisoners – No one messes with your family. Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) and Franklin Birch (Terrence Howard). have been friends for a long time and their families spend a lot of time together. Keller and Franklin's daughters ask their Dads if they can go back to their house to play. They leave and some time later, Keller and Franklin notice that the girls have been gone for too long. They scour the neighborhood to try and find them. Then, they go to the Police to report them missing and Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) is put on the case. He thinks they have a suspect and notifies Keller and Franklin. The Police aren't sure if they have the right person and is somehow released. Keller is sure they have the right man and decides to take the law into his own hands by kidnapping the suspect. What lengths will Keller go to rescue his Daughter? The Family – It's never easy starting over in a new place. Especially when you're in the Witness Relocation Program. Fred Blake (Robert Deniro) worked for the mob until it was time for him to get out. So he testifies and him and his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer), his son Warren (John D'Leo), and his daughter Belle (Dianna Agron) are relocated to France with the help of Agent Robert Stansfield (Tommy Lee Jones). Agent Stansfield has his work cut out for him because this family has a knack of getting into trouble and has to relocate them more than once. It looks like their trouble may have gotten them into trouble once too often. The mob may have become aware their location and it's possible they may have to move again. they are getting tired of this. Will they take a stand to make sure they stay safe permanently? Deniro teams with Sylvester Stallone as two aging boxers who decide they need one more fight in "Grudge Match" coming out Christmas Day in theaters.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters – Everyone gets a new challenge now and again. After Percy exposed the Lightning thief, his life would never be the same again. Not after you find out you're the son of a god and all. Percy and his friends are about to get a new one when their home is threatened by a new enemy. The mystic spells that protect their home are not working and the only thing that may be able to save them is the fabled Golden Fleece which is said to be able to heal any wound. The only problem is it's said to reside in the Sea of Monsters or known to us mortals as the Bermuda Triangle. They don't exactly have permission to go but they go anyway. Are they going to be able to save their friends and home in time? My sources tell me that another Percy Jackson adventure maybe in development. We'll See!

Some options when you're not shoveling snow or doing something out in the cold. On the way, the Toddster will be having a Spotlight on Paul Walker who's career was tragically cut short recently. Catch you next week.
