Plymouth Man Charged With Grand Larceny

PLYMOUTH – Plymouth resident and former Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department Treasurer Andrew Cushman was arrested on November 12, 2013 following an investigation by the New York State Police Troop C into the disappearance of funds from accounts he was responsible for.

It is alleged that Cushman, age 25, stole more than $10,000 from the Town of Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) while acting as the department treasurer, a position he has held for more than two years. Cushman, who has been with the department since age 16, is being charged with third degree grand larceny, a class D felony.
