NORWICH - The Chenango SPCA will hold its annual Woofstock from 15 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Blarney Stone Pub, 26 S. Broad St., Norwich. For the past five years on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the local nonprofit has held the event to support the Town of Norwich shelter.

The fund raising event, which began as a campaign to aid the shelter in response to two major animal cruelty cases in 2008, has grown in recent years and now aims both to promote awareness of services offered at the CSPCA and collect donations.

In addition to live music and food, guests can also learn about the CSPCA's spay and neuter program, collect brochures and ask CSPCA staff questions regarding adoption and strays.
