Supervisors Go Into Executive Session To Discuss Public Health Nurses’ Union Contract

NORWICH – What was supposed to be a short executive session to discuss a labor contract turned into a discussion that ensued for about a half an hour on Monday at the end of the Chenango County Board of Supervisors’ second meeting of 2013.

Lawmakers discussed the expired New York State Nurses’ Association contract that represents the nine nurses who are employed by the Chenango County Public Health Department. The previous contract, which was for three years, expired on Dec. 31, 2012. No decisions were made following the executive session.
