Demolition of the dilapidated city-owned property at 17 1/2 King Street in Norwich began early yesterday morning and was quickly completed by mid-day. The property sat vacant for several months before the Common Council voted in September to have the structure demolished, citing safety concerns and the extreme disrepair of the structure.
