NORWICH – A Pennsylvania-based company that purchased right-of-way assets from Norse Energy, Inc. earlier this year is planning to build a 75-mile pipeline in New York from the town of Eaton in Madison County through Chenango County and onto Windsor in Broome County.

Officials of Emkey Gathering, LLC outlined the route and provided details to members of the county’s natural gas advisory committee in Norwich in late October, and to officials in Madison County this month. The route would expand upon a sequence of existing natural gas pipeline easements originally pulled together by Norse and tie together the Tennessee Pipeline that transverses the northern part of the state to the Millennium in the south.
