Bus Trip To ‘War Horse’ Planned

NORWICH – Norwich native and Norwich High School graduate Derek Stratton is in the traveling stage production of “War Horse,” in which he is playing the part of the lead horse Joey. It will be in Philadelphia the two weeks around Thanksgiving, and local organizers are planning a charter bus trip to see the Nov. 24 2 p.m. matinee. The round trip by charter bus and ticket for the performance in the parquet section of the theater will cost $150. Meals will be on your own. Information about restaurants and rest stops will come with the itinerary. Organizers must make the full payment for the trip by Oct. 19 therefore they need your full payment by Oct. 15. Cash or checks made out to the NHS Musical Club needs to be dropped off or sent to Sands at Perry Browne Intermediate School by Oct. 15. In the event that they do not sell all the seats by Oct. 15, organizers will not be able to make the trip and all moneys will be refunded. Interested students must be accompanied by an adult.
