DVD Patrol

Just having fun, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is here on business as usual. The Toddster hopes everyone enjoyed our teamup last week and we found a few with a little something for everyone. There is also talk of a new one for next week, but more on that later. Let’s see what we see!

New on DVD

Dark Shadows - Be careful who you make angry because it doesn’t always go well. Back in 1752, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) was a playboy and had everything he could ever want. Angelique (Eve Green) always had her eye on him but he has eyes for other ladies in town. Barnabas decides to reject her and he doesn’t know it but she is secretly a witch. For that, she curses him. He becomes a vampire and is buried for 200 years. He wakes up to the year 1972 to find that everything he had and all the people he had known were gone. Barnabas meets Elizabeth (Michelle Pfieffer) along with her family. The Collins estate has fallen on hard times and there might be a way to fix that. Will Barnabas help the family find a way to make things better or are there other things ahead? Depp is getting ready for his next role when he plays Tonto in “The Lone Ranger” coming in July 2013.
