S-E 3, Adirondack 0

SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville extended its unbeaten streak to five games Tuesday avenging an early-season loss to Adirondack.

Kevin Vibbard tallied the lone goal of the first half for S-E (7-3-2). After a failed clear attempt by the Adirondack defense, Vibbard beat the keeper the ball, headed it past him, and finished off the play. Carter Cole and Elijah Morris scored their seventh and sixth goals of the season respectively to pad the advantage over the final 40 minutes

“We’ve been doing well with our possession game, and the work we’ve put in during practice is paying off,” said S-E coach Mike Rodriguez. “The kids are starting to get it, and the biggest thing is that everyone is now healthy.”
