Letter to the Editor: Parry supported for Smyrna Supervisor

Editor,

Mr. Gerald Parry is the right man to be elected this year for the position of the Town of Smyrna Supervisor. He has the knowledge and experience, the integrity and discipline to bring respectability back to the Town Government of Smyrna.

Mr. Gerald Parry, lifelong resident of Smyrna, has continued to serve his community as President of Smyrna’s Fire Department, since leaving town government seven years ago. We, who have known Gerald for more than a quarter of a century, know his consistent strong work ethic, strong family values, strong commitment to his community, and his willingness to serve. Mr. Parry is frequently present at town and church functions, organizing and assisting at fundraisers, overseeing the business of the Smyrna Fire Department, all while keeping his family farm running. There is no other candidate for Town of Smyrna Supervisor so qualified and deserving of being elected this year. His honesty and integrity are impeccable. Mr. Parry personifies the American values of hard work, honesty, family ties, and community service.

Residents and voters in Smyrna, New York, please take the time to vote in the Republican Primary on Sept. 13, and give the most capable man, the most deserving man, the most qualified man on the ballot, Gerald E. Parry, Sr. your vote of support.
