Gas fracking is not being handled well by our representative government. Our officials were not elected on this single issue alone. Consequently, no matter how hard they try, they can never accurately represent us.
To be adequately represented on important issues, such as fracking, we must be allowed to vote. Moreover, the referendum must be in clear, unambiguous language, such as: Do you want fracking in your town? Yes or no?
