NORWICH – Back-to-back goals less than five minutes apart midway through the first half lifted Windsor to a win over Norwich Wednesday afternoon.

Noah Jones set up both goals for the Black Knights feeing Kevin Saar on the first goal, then freshman Sebastian Wells moments later.

Shortly before halftime, Norwich cut the deficit in half. Off a restart, Curtis Woodard gathered a long pass that was misplayed by the goalie, and tucked away the ball. It was one of only three shots for Norwich in the game.

Andrew Radke tallied nine minutes into the game heading in a cornerkick from Nate Shackelton. In the second half, Nate Mackey hammered in a left-footed shot, again after a cornerkick. “We’ve spent a fair amount of time on our set pieces, and it’s starting to pay off in game situations,” said UV coach Ryan Houck.
