DOT Meeting To Address Rt. 12 Construction Tonight

GREENE – The New York State Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting beginning at 6:30 tonight to discuss a project to reconstruct state Route 12 in the Village of Greene. The meeting, which will provide information about the project as construction begins, will be held at the Greene High School auditorium, 40 South Canal St.

NYSDOT representatives will initially be available to discuss the project with interested citizens and public officials in an informal setting. A short, formal presentation follows at 7 p.m. The presentation will include the introduction of construction staff, an overview of the project, tentative construction plans for the upcoming construction season and contact information. The meeting will then revert back to an open-house format for any interested individuals who might have questions.
