Raymond marks continued growth with 500th new job

GREENE –The Raymond Corporation is celebrating the creation of its 500th new job since 2010 at its Greene and Syracuse locations. The increase in jobs created by Raymond is a result of the company’s continuous efforts to maintain a strong manufacturing presence in the United States. These efforts have included significant facility investments, including building upgrades and new equipment, new product introductions and increased production volumes based on strong customer demand and market performance. As a result, all departments within the business experienced an increase in staff, including manufacturing, material handling, engineering, and sales and marketing.

“We are very proud of our ability to create this level of job growth within our community in upstate New York,” said Steve VanNostrand, vice president of human resources. “Our success is a direct result of retaining highly talented employees for the long term, as well as employing equally talented new hires. There is no doubt that our talented workforce affords Raymond the ability to excel in a highly competitive global marketplace.”
