Indoor Track and Field

ITHACA – At Cornell University, Norwich’s indoor track and field team set four new school records at the Section IV state qualifier Saturday, and will send Matt Murray, Patrick Taylor, and Sydney Chaffee as automatic qualifers to the state meet later this month.

Murray, already a school recordholder in multiple events, placed first overall in the 600 meters completing it in a record 1:22.79. Murray also teamed with Taylor, Nate Ashton, and Cameron Prime to place second in the 800-meter relay establishing a new school mark of 1:36.43.
