NORWICH – After an eight-day layoff, Norwich resumed its winning ways taking its fourth straight game and 10th in 11 outings.

Bryn Loomis scored 10 of her 16 points in the second, and Jennifer Borfitz scored five including a three-point play. “We did a nice job to end the second quarter,” said Norwich coach Josh Bennett. “I felt we didn’t execute as well on offense in the second half, and that was a little frustrating.”
Borfitz and Cassie Sutton chipped in with eight points apiece for the Tornado (10-2), who host Susquehanna Valley Friday night.

“We played very poor defense, especially in the first and third quarters,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton. “We gave up a lot of easy baskets, and put them on the foul line too many times.”
