HENRIETTA – The unbeaten Hobart men’s basketball team rallied from a eight-point second-half deficit to defeat Nazareth 72-63 and win its first Wendy's College Classic Championship last Saturday.

Richie Bonney (Norwich, 2010) had a team-high 16 points for the unbeaten Statesmen, and was named to the all-tournament team. In Friday’s 71-70 buzzer-beating win over Brockport State, Bonney had 11 points and 11 rebounds, and added a critical last-second assist that led to the winning basket.

Through six games this season, Bonney is averaging 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while logging 26 minutes of play per contest.
