Cyclones' C team stops Utica

NORWICH – The Cyclones’ “C” team stopped the Utica Bulldogs 19-0 at Alumni Field in Norwich, Sunday in Pop Warner play.

The Cyclones controlled the clock with tough defense and a ball-control offense that created a 31-9 time of possession advantage. Drew Walsh scored from the six yards out on the opening 55-yard, seven-minute drive. A Tom Parrella pass to JT Vinal was good for the point-after touchdown (P.A.T.). Walsh also added a five-yard TD in the third. Elijah Rodriguez also had a five-yard touchdown in the second stanza giving



Austin Foulds, Zack Mills, and Collin Montgomery had good yardage toting the pigskin also. The stiff Cyclone D was led by JT Vinal, Drew Walsh, Keegan Wright, Griffin Clipston, Tom Parrella, with Bulldog fumble recoveries by Scott Manwarren, Noah Marvin and Brandon Huestis.
