At the Fair: Exciting changes in store for Tractors of Yesteryear

NORWICH – Join the Tractors of Yestyear club next Saturday at the Chenango County Fair, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a tractor pull.

Grandstand admission is free and the Chenango County Dairy Princess and her Court will be giving away free milk courtesy of local businesses.

“The free entry is a great thing,” said Mark Tanis, one of the event organizers. “Now no one has an excuse not to come. Everyone should know that.”

Registration to pull is $5, and membership for the club is $20, but anyone is welcome to come exhibit, Tanis said. Tractors, bulldozers and all manner of equipment is welcome.

All proceeds go to the club’s tractor museum in Cortland. The first 30 people who register to pull will receive a free T-shirt, courtesy of Tractor Supply Company stores in Norwich and Cortland.
