OXFORD – Jeff and Vida put the blues in their bluegrass and they’re coming to 6 On The Square (6OTS) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. to rock the house. This award winning acoustic roots duo have been performing and songwriting nearly a decade, building a solid following among fans and critics alike across the United States and Europe with their funky, swingin’ sounds.

Jeff and Vida met in New York City in 1997 but soon left for New Orleans where they began writing and performing on a regular basis, quickly becoming a force on the New Orleans music scene. In 2001, they began touring full time and have since played more than 200 dates a year. They released four studio recordings, along with a live disc, to wide critical acclaim. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Jeff and Vida relocated to Nashville where they became part of the burgeoning alternative music scene.
