Memorial Day weekend tradition continues with the 46th annual Rolling Antiquers Auto Show

NORWICH – One of the largest classic automobile shows in the northeast, the 46th annual Rolling Antiquers Auto Show and Flea Market will roll into town for Memorial Day weekend, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.

The event – which typically draws between 8,000 and 10,000 from across the country year after year – has continued to grow in both size and scope for nearly half a century, according to Rolling Antiquers Old Car Club President Sewain Conklin. In fact, last year’s auto show and flea market drew over 10,000 to the fairgrounds.

“It’s become an institution for this area,” said Conklin. “Looking at pre-registration, it looks like we’re going to have a good show and we may exceed last year’s; it’s unbelievable.”

Antique and muscle cars, military vehicles, street rods, motorcycles, antique engines and more will be on display over the weekend, rain or shine, with modified vehicles, muscle cars, motorcycles, sports cars and street rods featured on Saturday, and antique and classic cars and trucks on Sunday.

As always, there will be a wide variety of antique, craft, food and collectible vendors on hand, said Conklin.
