Taylor Ellis had two hits including a solo homer, and Rebecca Hanrahan finished with three hits. Hanrahan and Morgan Hurlburt combined on a five-inning no-hitter striking out nine total players and walking four. It was the Trojans’ third no-hitter of the season.

In the second contest, Greene scored eight runs in the bottom of the first to jump on Hancock early. The Trojans rapped out four singles in its first at-bat with Willis driving in a pair of runs and Rachel Turner blasting an RBI triple. Willis finished 2-for-2, Hanrahan had two hits and three RBI, and Ellis finished 2-for-4.

“Coming off last weekend, I thought we were too passive at the plate,” said Greene coach Rick Smith. “We concentrated on attacking the ball early in the game. When we take too many pitches, we get in trouble.”
