NORWICH – Representatives from the office of Governor Andrew Cuomo – including NYS Department of Transportation Commissioner Joan McDonald and NYS Office of Emergency Management Regional Coordinator Thomas E. McCartney – met with city, county and state officials following a tour of Chenango County this morning to discuss the damage caused by last week’s storms, which spawned at least two tornadoes and caused considerable flood damage countywide. A press conference was held in downtown Norwich this morning.
