GREENE – Greene avenaged a 24-point loss to Delhi last month winning its Midstate Athletic Conference crossover game Wednesday night.

Trailing the Bulldogs by seven points with 2 1/2 minutes to play, the Trojans (6-6, 9-8) embarked on a 10-0 run, and Dan Treadwell’s three-pointer broke a tie game and gave Greene its first lead of the second half.

“The biggest difference between this time and last time as that we did a better job stopping their penetration and we rebounded better,” said Greene coach Rick Smith. “We contested well and we pressured the ball more. Our bench also game through for us.”
