NORWICH – Norwich had its best team score in five seasons rolling a 3,311 for three games – its best this season as well by 224 pins – in posting its second straight shutout victory Wednesday afternoon.
Kevin Rooney had his third straight 700 series rolling a team-high 721. Ben Barnes had a personal-best 719, and Arden Hamstra finished with a 673 series.
Norwich is at Susquehanna Valley Dec. 20.

JOHNSON CITY – Despite giving up four forfeits and 24 points, B-G/Afton maintained its perfect record improving to 3-0 on the season with a two-point win over Johnson City Wednesday.
The Bears had five wins by pinfall or technical fall to keep itself in the match. Billy Holden’s pin at 285 pounds was the clinching victory. “Overall, the guys we had wrestled very well, and they had to giving up that many forfeits,” said B-G/Afton coach Brandon MacNaught. “There wasn’t a lot of room for error.”
