NORWICH – A Norwich man wanted on a warrant for selling marijuana to an underage youth was brought up on several more charges Monday after officers allegedly discovered him in his home with a number of other drugs and paraphernalia.

Police said they began investigating 21-year-old Christopher Bonno after receiving a complaint from an eyewitness who claimed to see him making drug exchanges with youths in a city parking lot Sunday.

Police investigated the complaint and eventually sought a felony warrant for Bonno’s arrest. The warrant charges Bonno with second degree sale of marijuana, a D class felony, claiming he sold the drug to a youth under the age of 16.

Police serving the warrant at Bonno’s 30 Cortland St. apartment Monday noticed illegal substances inside the residence that were in plain view of the front door, said Detective Michael Purdy.
