NORWICH – City of Norwich firefighters will welcome citizens into their second home tonight at their annual open house.
The doors will be raised from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the East Main Street station.
Firemen will be offering truck rides, hose and automobile extraction demonstrations, station tours and a presentation by Sparky the robotic Fire Dog.
City of Norwich Code Enforcement Officer Jason Lawrence said the office will be available for questions on proper smoke and carbon detector placement and use. The Preferred Mutual Insurance Company will also be offering its child identification program again this year.
