Norwich 2, Windsor 1

WINDSOR – Down by a goal at halftime, Norwich picked up the pace in the second half scoring twice for its first win of the season on Tuesday.

Tori Parsons hit a pass over the Windsor defense to Miranda Costin, who scored the tying goal with 18:50 expired in the second half. Four minutes later, Parsons beat the Windsor defense with fine individual moves, and connected on a shot from just inside 18 yards for the game-winner.

“We played a much better second half and the girls were happy with themselves,” said Norwich coach Dianne Fiorina. “It’s like the light has now been turned on for us.”
