BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Milford Academy raised its record to 2-0 after defeating Lehigh University’s freshman team last weekend, 20-13.

Exavier Edwards and Tavon Henley led the Falcons’ running game with 103 and 92 yards rushing respectively. Marquel Wade had two catches for 47 yards and one touchdown

Rodman Noel returned an interception 57 yards for a touchdown, K.K. Smith helped preserve the win with a blocked field and a sack, and Syracuse University recruit, Myles Davis, led the defense with five solo tackles.

Milford Academy head coach, Billy Chaplick, said that Milford graduate Jeremy Horne, a wide receiver, made the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2010 roster. “That gives us seven players from Milford Academy now in the NFL,” Chaplick said. “We’re pretty proud of that.”

Milford Academy plays at Wagner College on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
