EARLVILLE – In tough times, the Blues are a national resource for fighting our troubles with creativity, humor and good times. One band that is fighting the blues with the blues this summer is the Sue Foley & Peter Karp Band who bring their “He Said/ She Said” tour to the historic Opera House main stage on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. Their 4-piece electric band will rock the blues! Sue Foley and Peter Karp’s He Said/She Said concert is generously sponsored by Dr. William Graber and by media sponsor WAER-FM.
“He Said/ She Said” is an extraordinarily romantic Blues show that is a collaboration of two of Blues’ gifted talents Sue Foley and Peter Karp. He Said-She Said came together when the two began sharing letters and eventually progressed into their new collaborative CD on Blind Pig Records. HE is Peter Karp, a master songsmith with an art for spinning true-to-life emotions, humor, and candor. SHE is Sue Foley, considered to be one of the finest blues/roots artists working today with a Juno (Canadian Grammy) under her belt for her recent CD Love Coming Down.
