OXFORD Oxford scored all of its runs in the first two innings on just four hits to keep its Otsenango Pony League playoff hopes alive.
For the second straight game, Richard Ryan finished with a pair of hits. Ryan had a double and two RBI to pace Oxford. Cameron Heggie and Joe Nelson, Oxfords one and two hitters, reached base safely a combined six times scoring two runs apiece. Andrew Golden picked up the victory, and Justin Schray pitched in relief as the two hurlers held Edmeston to four hits.
Oxford can clinch second place and a playoff spot with a victory over Greene on Monday.
